what library are you talking about? I am having the same problem. Except
I have 4 gkrellkam panels: 1 rotating the local pictures from, 2 for the
weather maps and one rotating the webcam pictures from the list.
Suddenly 3 out of them stopped working. They just show nothing at all.
The one with local pictures works as usually. However if you click on
the panel, the full-size image is displayed in the viewer, but not in
gkrellm. Sometimes the script dies (usual problem, usually some troubles
with the image source) and then the last cached image is displayed on
the panel...

The biggest problems is that I definitely know that there were some
updates happening to my system, but since I'm not sure when exactly this
happened (2-3 weeks ago) so I cannot trace the changes.

Tell me what was the library that made it work for you, I'll give it a try.

I'm running FC7 x86_64 and FC8 i386 on x86_64 hardware, should this matter.

/The nice thing about standards is that there are so many to choose from./
