I've seen some posts about this on several other distros. Since the update to 2.3.1 and later, the Gkrellkam plugin no longer properly displays the captured cam images. These are downloaded correctly as a click on the image still displays the correct image in the separate viewer. Often (usually) they don't display in the Gkrellm app as they should, usually on initial launch being blank. Later on these might update, but do not update the image as they should regularly according to the setting in the plugin. I'm wondering what might have changed to cause this behavior since 2.3.1? I have seen this behavior on Mandriva 2008.0, 2008.1, and 2009.0 on many machines using either 2.3.1 or 2.3.2 Gkrellm releases, including both binary packages and source built installations of Gkrellm.
