Multiple system remote monitoring

I have 5 systems on which I'd like to monitor temperatures, CPU activity, HD activity, and network activity. gkrellm seems adept at monitoring these things locally, but can I configure it to monitor these attributes of 5 different systems from my laptop? Since the laptop is mobile, maybe I should aggregate the monitoring data on a stationary system and somehow pull it from there on my laptop? Is gkrellm suited to this? I'd also like to get temperature alerts via email.
