No it does not, it uses the standard msvcrt.dll that is part of Windows 
since 95, i.e. it uses the Visual C 6.0 runtime.

As with any new software the beta I posted in here some time ago fixes 
quite a few bugs, probably also the crash you experienced with 2.3.2.
