Anyway, here are the links to both installers: http://www.srcbox.net/tmp/gkrellm-setup-2.3.4-win32-beta1.exe http://www.srcbox.net/tmp/gkrellm-setup-2.3.4-win64-beta1.exe Btw, please uninstall any prior version before installing with the above installer. Changes since last windows release (2.3.2): http://www.srcbox.net/projects/gkrellm/log/trunk?rev=102&stop_rev=77&verbose=on >>> Are there any known issues like this? I find the idea of Windows finding a solution horrible because it probably means that it's sending stuff to Microsoft without asking me. Furthermore I have never ever seen any positive outcome, i.e. it will not find a solution anyway (if the OS knows the problem then it could have avoided the crash in the first place :P). OS X does a way better job at this. It has a helpful crash dialog that already gathers system information and even adds a cool backtrace for the developer (very helpful, especially when bundled with a log-file). The only drawback is that it always wants to send this report to Apple. But at least the user can copy the whole text-edit, paste it into a mail and send it to the developer. >>> I've searched through the gkrellm for windows pages (at srcbox.net) >>> but not found much information about plugins at all. Right now though I want to get GKrellM 2.3.5 out of the door, it's a pity that it's too late for Debian Lenny already. >>> I'm specifically looking for something similar to gkrellmss. >> Haven't looked at this one but I guess porting it will be difficult, >> it directly uses ALSA or ESD. Yes, it will mean supporting another backend but ESD always has been a major problem on Linux, I really don't want to force anybody to install it.
