If you haven't already seen it, you might want to check out
the 'gkrelltop' plugin:

IMHO, the screenshot doesn't do it justice, especially if you enable
the "Show percentage in front of process names" option.  I've been
using it (in conjunction with the built-in GKrellM CPU graph) for
years now and would not be without it.

BTW, I was able to compile and use 'gkrellfire' (0.4.2) as-is on 64-bit
Slackware 14.2 and it ran just fine.  I didn't find it very useful
compared to 'gkrelltop', but it did work fine, FWIW.
