Yes, I already have that as standard; it doesn't show the system load averages 
though, which is what I'm interested in at the moment.

I only wanted to see what it looked like; it didn't seem very useful from what 
I read.

Not really. I think Stefan's right: it looks like a Gentoo problem. Gkrellfire 
doesn't have a Gentoo maintainer though, so I think I'm out of luck.
