Bill,

As far as I'm aware it only works with Canon CRW files. It does not even 
work with Canon CR2 files. I tried with images from Canon Powershot G3 
(CRW) - it works, and from Canon EOS 20D (CR2) - it does not work.

Documentation states it works with CRW files and so I doubt it works 
with NEF files (although I have not tried).
