OK, I've been testing it and it seems to work nicely.

- It seems to work happily with *LOTS* of directories (I tried 637
directories containing 45,784 images!)
- It seems happy with an intermix of directory paths and actual
image paths: ie gqview DirA/ DirB/*.jpg DirC/
- It does NOT go recursively down the tree beyond the directory
specified (which I consider correct behaviour)

This is most definitely a great usability improvement for me and seems
to work just fine so far.  Thank you so much for putting in the effort.

There is one thing though, but it should not really affect the merger of
this very useful patch because it's a separate thing....

I found one issue, but that definitely existed before (checked another
machine I have with standard 2.1.1) and is unchanged and might be a
design feature...  If you fire gqview up with:

	gqview DirA/* DirB/* DirC/*

the list of files on the left hand side shows only DirA.  If you click
on one of them (say to jump to the end of that set), and then go back to
fullscreen, the space bar advances only to the end of THAT first set.
All knowledge of the second set and subsequent sets selected on the
command line appears lost.  Further, even once you've progressed to that
second set, the left hand side index is unchanged, showing only the
files from the first set.  It would be kinda nice if it updated as it
went along to view the second set and if space bar at the end of the
set, even if you've jumped some, would continue the slide show into any
further set specified.

I guess that's maybe one to look at in future.  For now, this patch does
solve my problem and I'm most grateful for your efforts.
