I didn't try list view before, I always use tree.  List works for me too.

Before it didn't display the files either (from what I remember
anyway), but now it always display the files.  Refresh shows the
folder, but it does not automatically scroll to it.  Once the hidden
folder is displayed, the non-hidden ones inside seem to work properly
in terms of scrolling and displaying.

If I have the hidden folder displayed (after typing it in and
refreshing), then go to an nonhidden folder, then click the home
folder button, the hidden one disappears.
