gqview and slackware 9.1

Hi, I have slackware 9.1 and I try to run gqview 1.4.0 but the "Segmentation fault" message is displayed. My gqview is compiled with configure, make a make install on the same machine successfully. I had installed gqview 1.3.2 before and it works fine. I don't know where is the problem and how can I fix it.
