Re: Need help with GitHub Issues migration

So Andrew actually brought up the topic of the old Google Groups lists receiving push notifications and Trac activity emails.

I'm not sure I have a good solution for this after the migration to GitHub. Theoretically, I could try to keep this working:

1) Ask OSU OSL for some more lists
2) Write an action that posts mail
3) Set up an account on my private SMTP for mc

I'm not very convinced that this is really needed though, and I'd rather spend that time on something else. For now, I'm trying to sell Andrew on the idea of just subscribing to notifications using his GitHub account and receiving them on the associated email.

Does anyone care about these lists? Do you actually use them? How useful are they to you compared to just switching to GitHub notifications?

I added a warning, but I guess there is no foolproof solution to human stupidity.
