I think the nightlies don't make much sense anymore since development has slowed down dramatically, so this shouldn't be a big deal.

However, I think that backports of the latest releases to all supported Debian/Ubuntu flavours are still very valuable. I don't use them anymore myself, but people get stuck with very unfortunate versions (see latest releases with broken mc.ext) forever due to distro backporting policies. Maybe someone could pick this up eventually...
