Could this be solved simply by defining a top level task for each client
(or project)? (I would probably just use one project file per project
though).

Please consider enter this as a feature request in our bug databas at
http://bugzilla.codefactory.se/ to make sure it won't get forgotten.

This is already planned and will be implemented soon.

We have planned to implement this as well, but we haven't finalized on
the details yet so if you have any ideas, feel free to elaborate on this
