Definitely needed but maybe not enough.

It might be better to allow defining various types of "schedules" and "days"
(default, days, nights, weekend, holiday, ...).

Then providing a means of assigning or applying a given kind of schedule 
to a given resource and a means of overriding this assignment for a 
given day.

I would like to say it is important to be able to define real schedules 
and define them easily.
