As a former project management consultant I am totally agree with you.
The web greatly lacks information about general project management topics
which are accessable for free.
But back then I was on a mailing list about project management which was
very good.
If MrProject should have a 'role model' among properitary project
management information systems it should be Project Scheduler (if we
are talking desktop programs) which is created by project managers for
project managers.
