I know it will be huge, but thats not really a big problem.
The freedom of free software turns possible to adjust it as you want,
so, if the user wants  a fast, light and small software, he must
optimize and compile it, but for the people that just want to try and
get the "vicious" of the MrProject, a big, memory-eat and huge binary
will not be a big problem. 

If you have the power to make a staticaly linked binary, think about it,
you have the power on your hands...
