Yes, as said in an earlier mail (sent a few minutes ago :) we are
currently using plugins for this. So that when you first start it you
get something pretty basic. 

Then you can enable plugins which will give you more functionality in
the menues/dialogs.

Yes, we are planning features like this in the future. Though currently
we are two full time hackers working on it and one that hacks on his
spare time so development goes in a speed accordingly :)

I haven't looked at the way it's done in Microsoft Project, but when I
do I'll keep it in mind. What is not good about it?

As said, at least I don't think we are at that point to make this
distinction yet.
