There was a bug related to recent versions of PyGtk, which alterated
sys.argv during Gnome init. This had the effect of rendering
pybliographic unable to open a file from the command line.

Maybe your pybrc.conf contains a reference to some Gnome settings, and
therefore when pybliographer reads the file, it imports Pyblio.GnomeUI,
which performs the faulty initialization. 

I've fixed the init code in arch, so you could check if it helps. This
will be in 1.2.5, due soon I hope.
