Is the python-bibtex suse rpm package is installed??
rpm -q python-bibtex
Looking at the ftp site, it should be python-bibtex-1.2.1, with files
installed in /usr/lib/python2.4/site-packages/.

Have you installed python-bibtex-1.2.2 manually in
/usr/local/lib/python2.4/site-packages? Is it in python sys.path?

Sure. python-bibtex-1.2.1 does not work with pybliographer-1.2.7.
If you install pybliographer-1.2.7 you must be sure that
python-bibtex-1.2.2 is installed correctly.
