Hi,

I've just committed some code to the 1.3 branch to allow for adapting
a biblio format to another. There is an example in
doc/examples/pubmed2bibtex.py, which runs a query on pubmed, retrieves
the result in pubmed's XML format, then adapts this format to BibTeX,
and eventually saves the result of your query in BibTeX.

This system does not really "convert" the data. An adapter is just
some kind of layer that behaves as a normal pyblio database, but
translates the records on the fly. It is possible to cascade these
adapters.

For the moment, pyblio 1.3 offers basic support for querying PubMed,
the Web of Science and CrossRef. There are also parsers for RIS, ISI,
XML Marc21, XML EndNote, BibTeX. There is only one Adapter, from
PubMed to BibTeX.

All these modules are incomplete, and I certainly won't have the time
to complete them all. If you are interested, they are all meant to be
easily extended, and possibly customized to more specific uses.
