Sorry to trouble you but Bibus (http://bibus-biblio.sourceforge.net) is able to
cite 'à la EndNote' quite easily into OpenOffice.org and MS Word, under
GNU/Linux, Mac OS X and Windows :-)

I've mailed Frédéric about this feature, he could probably grab some info from
the maintainer of bibus.
