Hi, I have been using Pybliographic to organise my .pdf files on my hard drive. I use Evince to view them and have linked the reference to the file via the 'url' field. When I try and open the file via 'resource' in the right-click menu the wierdness happens. Many (usually 18, sometimes fewer) instances of Evince open up, each with an error message 'Unhanded MIME type'. The final window also displays an error message saying that the file '/home/joe/cancer.pdf' cannot be opened. The result is the same regardless of which reference url I try and open. Also, there has never been a reference that pointed to a 'cancer.pdf' file as far as I know. All my papers are named in the format 'Author - Title.pdf' and are stored in 'home/joe/Biochemistry/Papers'. Viewing the file directly (i.e. browsing and opening with the file manager) loads it up into Evince with no problems. I have tried using the other version of Evince (the 'evince' package rather than the 'evince-gtk' package) as well as reinstalling both Evince and Pybliographic several times. I'm running Ubuntu Server Base 6.10 with Xfce4-desktop with Pybliographic 1.2.9. Any help would be greatly welcomed!
