I'd like to point out that java-gnome _will_ have an API-stable release very soon, that wraps GTK+ 2.4 API, thanks to the schedule. It's a great achievement, and it's what we should require of any language binding used in the desktop. I think that gnome-python will get there very soon too, though it doesn't look like Gtk# can get in-sync until after 2.8. As much as people might like it, you can't make stuff happen faster than it happens. That's one reason why I think this is a pointless discussion. -- Murray Cumming www.murrayc.com [email protected] _______________________________________________ language-bindings mailing list [email protected] http://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/language-bindings
