support for alpha blended masks?

Hi all,
I'm new here on the librsvg mailing list. First message :)

I created an SVG in Inkscape which doesn't seem to render right in rsvg-view
and I was wondering why. Basically I blurred an object, created a mask from
that object to created a "glow" effect around another object. But it looks
like maybe the mask or something isn't supported by librsvg, or is it?

I've attached the Inkscape SVG and a png of what it's suppose to look like.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Anthony
