Thanks for the reply.  I have the mac stable binary install.  I don't  
seem to have a 'monodoc' binary.  I have 'monodocer', etc, but these  
seem to be about making docs, not viewing already made docs.  I was  
hoping to get away without deciphering the install hierarchy and  
generating my own docs.  That seems like a large hurdle to get 'hello- 
world' level programming going. :)

I guess my next move is to ask on the Mac Mono mailing list for  
monodoc information.
