See the 8 points to support abstract wallz. Usability, customizable colors (when users will change their gtk theme in the future), originality, space, resizable/scalable, long-term usage (months/years), and gnome HIG. A comparison of the two wallz with various colors (see how tango colors look better with the tango blue of the abstact wallpaper): http://img171.imageshack.us/img171/8793/schermatawa8.png http://img171.imageshack.us/img171/2973/schermata2zx8.png Obviusly an abstract wallpaper could go green if you want, and the users could still customize it if they prefer the blue :) I'm ready to bet with that direction (also after seeing the success of the Apple aqua wallpaper), and I will push new nature wallpapers when we will have something really good on our hands. With a wallpaper that convince us _totally_, not just some of them. Ready for 2.22 baby? :) Now the only one that looks fine with clearlooks and other themes is "GreenMeadow", the big leaf is nice but its gradients and details makes it less adaptable chamging wallpapers > Ciao > Lapo > Hi dudes -- Andrea Cimitan <[email protected]>
