Hi Abhishek,

I'm sorry, but the deadline for the submissions is set by Google and
can't be changed by us. You have to submit to application before April,
9th in order to hope to participate to GSoc 2010.

That said, you would loose much less time by installing OpenSuse or
Debian and build on it... I it has already been written on this
mailing-list, building on Ubuntu is quite hard for newcomers!
