Now to find a good calendar/email system. We used an IBM product (Nitix Exchange It) until they dropped the Exchange Clone and went to Lotus Notes. After a year of Notes problems I am ready to puke. Our granite tough server now crashes about once a month and navigating Notes is well....... :( ------------- John Hoss [email protected] Freeport Launch Service 979-233-8044 Please consider the environment before printing this email. I am a small business owner. We began using Open Office last year. While I still keep a copy of MS Office 2003 on site, we pretty much exclusively use OO. It has had some quirks. One of which, was a tendency to become slow or slow down an XP or Vista system. I assumed it was Java related and/or a memory leak as it would become progressively worse over time and once you restarted OO, it worked until it degraded. We lived with it. Recently, I found Go-oo.org and gave it a try. ----- WOW! What an improvement. So far, I am running it on 2 XP Workstations, and will soon load it on a Win 7 machine. I have also upgraded my home Ubuntu machine. THANK YOU and your TEAM for such efforts. This truly makes OO a nice package for office use. It is MUCH snappier. Thanks again John Hoss ------------- John Hoss [email protected] Freeport Launch Service 979-233-8044 Please consider the environment before printing this email.
