Problems with rcd

I've been running the new Red-Carpet for about 10 days now. I've
encountered 3 problems and I am looking for info to help me deal with
them.

First problem is /var/log/rcd/rcd-messages. After about 10 days this
file is over 500 meg in size. Seems a bit excessive. Anyone know how to
adjust logging levels?

Second problem is that the rcd daemon goes run-away on me and kills my
system.

Third problem is that it seems that if I bounce the daemon
(/etc/rc.d/init.d/rcd restart) because it is run away it never works
properly until I reboot the box.

Again looking for advice.
