Red Carpet failure Mdk 9.1

When I try to run red-carpet, the initial dialog of connect to this
machine or a remote machine appears, then when I click "this machine,"
the application crashes.  Below is a printout of what a terminal shows. 
I have tried with red-carpet, rcd and rug installed, and with only
red-carpet and rcd installed, and receive the same results.  What is the
fix to get red-carpet to work?
