Red Carpet et al

Everything was working fine with my RH 9 Up2Date. Red-carpet, rcd. 
rug,etc.. Then, I had the stu^pide idea of taking on Evolution XD2.
  Now my up2datre is God knows where, and red-carpet does not come in 
because I get a message telling me I need a RC Demon class 2 and I only 
have a class 1.

Could a Red-carpet or  Ximian Guru or another guru tell me how I can 
untangle that mess? I downloaded Red-carpet, rcd and rug from the Ximian 
site using two ways (from the specific folder on Ximian site and through 
one of the mirrors (Corvallis Oregon State..)

Same result. Cannot access red-carpet updates. And I do not know where I 
find up2date..
