Red Carpet for FC2

I'm on the cusp of installing Fedora Core 2. I've already had to resign
myself to the fact that I'm going to have to do without Ximian's
outstanding GNOME and OpenOffice.org. Please don't tell me that I'm
going to have to do without Red Carpet as well. I just don't think I can
face going back to Yum. And before anyone suggests SUSE 9.1 Pro, I'm
sorry Novell guys but I tried it out and I just don't like it -- I
simply don't feel "at home" in it. As you seem to be supporting FC1
please tell me that you'll support FC2. Besides, I'd imagine Miguel et
al would like us Fedora users to have a nice way of installing Mono :-)

Would begging help -- coz ya know I'm not above doing that ...

If you aren't going to be providing packages, what do you think the
chances of succes with rebuilding the src rpms for FC1 on FC2 are, or
does FC2 come with an incompatible version of rpm?
