Can't access any channels

Hello

I've just upgraded from Redhat 7.3 to 9.0, got rid of all the rpms in the
system with ximian in them (as recommended in the Release Notes for 9.0),
and downloaded and installed the latest rpm for red-carpet 2.0 and its daemons.

When I run red-carpet there's no problem except that I can't access the
list of channels. When I click on refresh I get the following error-message:

Unable to download channel data: Attempt
to download the channel list failed:
Can't connect - Cannot connect to
destination
(http://red-carpet.ximian.com/channels.xml.gz)
(fault -611)

I'm behind a proxy, and I have the relevant IP address and port (e.g. from
Mozilla), but I can't figure out how to get it to work.

Does anybody have any ideas??!! I'd appreciate some help.
