After I sent out that mail I decided to mess with it and saw that it was
trying to start but failing. I then tried running it this way #rcd -n -d
6 so that I could see what was going on and it seemed to be starting ok
besides having proxy issues at which point red-carpet would actually
launch. I tried creating and rcd.conf in /etc/ximian first with a proxy=
entry but rcd didn't seem to be reading it on startup. I had to set the
proxy in the gui, would be nice if you could include the proxy= in the
command line execution of rcd. All is well for now.
