Gnome 2.0 via red carpet

After my last attempt to upgrade my Gnome version, I decided I wouldn't 
mess with it -- I'd just take what the latest RedHat release gave me. 
 However, I saw the press release stating that Gnome 2.0 was out.  I 
checked out the screenshots and wanted to torture myself with the update 
process.  I was happy to see the red carpet utility for upgrading -- I 
thought the upgrade would be simple.

Well, fast forward to today... I've since downloaded every RPM in the 
Gnome 2.0 snapshots channel.  I'm having a good number of problems.  Let 
me rattle them off to see if I'm just being a moron.  Some of them are 
sawfish related, but I can't change to another window manager (see #3) 
to verify.

1) In sawfish2, I can't seem to add viewports.  Is this still an option?
2) Also in sawfish2, if I change an option, I have to log out and log 
back in before the change takes place.  Is this normal?  In Gnome 1.4 I 
was able to try settings and Revert if I didn't like them.
3) The docs state to change window managers, you can do it through the 
gnome-control-center.  Well, it isn't a part of the menu system like it 
used to be.  Starting it up from the command line, I don't have an 
option for changing window managers.  Any clue where it can be?

I'm sure I have more, but that will get me back to having a useable 
system.  

Also, I should mention that when I was upgrading, I had some problems 
with conflicts that I had to manually resolve.  The first one was 
gnome-vfs.  I had two other conflicts that I also had to manually 
resolve.  By resolve, I mean I removed the old RPMs and dependencies, 
and then installed the new RPMs.

I'm started with a pretty fresh install of RedHat 7.2.  I have since 
upgraded all the patches on the RedHat 7.2 red carpet channel, just to 
see if that would solve some of my problems.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

PS, does anyone have a list of RPMs necessary for a basic Gnome 2.0 
installation?  I saw one for Mandrake, but I didn't know if that would 
help in this situation or not.
