Any progress on the panel menu or terminal font bugs?

I have searched bugzilla for these two bugs and am unable to find them.

Can someone let me in on what the bug numbers are so I can follow their progress?

1.  Panel Menu - lack of certain menu trees on the application menu,  most notable "other" and "desktop preferences."
2.  Terminal Fonts - garbled text in the terminal and lack of a blinking cursor.
