hello all, i new to the mailinglist, all though i've been following it for a while. heres my problem, with the latest build of nautilus, my desktop icon positions are not being read. normally nautilus reads the icon possitions from the file .gnome-desktop.directory which is stored in your home directory, however that latest build is not doing so on my system. if i move the icons then logout, and log back in (even saving session) the possision is not saved and the .directory file appears to be untouched. this is a very annoying bug, instead of saving there posistion and using it, it simply piles them on top of each other in the top left corner everytime it starts up could simply be a preferences issue, i'm not sure. would like to hear feedback and see if anyone else is having this problem ty for the snapshots, douglas _________________________________________________________________ Chat with friends online, try MSN Messenger: http://messenger.msn.com _______________________________________________ gnome-2-snapshots maillist - [email protected] http://lists.ximian.com/mailman/listinfo/gnome-2-snapshots
