Ximian doesn't have an official release at this stage.  Use the one on
the gnome.org site.

Jacob and Luis, this might indicate a problem worth addressing on
RedCarpet (which I don't use).  It seems that it makes access to
development binaries too easy without stressing the fact that the
binaries being downloaded are experiemental and will occasionally hose
your system.  Don't know how easy it is to do this.

Don't get me wrong, I think it's great that people can test development
versions and report bugs, but I think there is quite a few people using
the snapshots thinking that they are safe to use and moving towards an
'official' release from Ximian.
