About the .la files, the answer is the same as the one to your mail
about libesd.la.

About audiofile, I removed it from the build because oss.sgi.com was
down at some point, and audiofile hasn't changed in ages anyway.  The
source is available at: http://oss.sgi.com/projects/audiofile/
