Hi alvin, I was having the same problem; I couldn't change the gnome-terminal fonts. The way I went around it is by no means a fix but I chose better and larger fonts than I had. Just open the terminal > edit the profile > select font ledfixed (xxl) ( at this point they should be xxtra large, if not change to another font large size and back again) and then change font to one you want. It works best if the default font size for selected font is the size you want. I might screw up again to a different font but keep trying it didn't take me more than a min. to get a better one with a better size. I think it's because it's the largest font but can't find a pattern to why it changes in this case. Bert hello, setting the gnome-terminal font does not seem to have any effect on my system. also, there's the option to use the system font, but i see no way to set the fixed font in preferences. thanks, alvin _______________________________________________ gnome-2-snapshots maillist - [email protected] http://lists.ximian.com/mailman/listinfo/gnome-2-snapshots
