SUSE Linux 9.1 Professional is based on Gnome 2.4. XD2 is based on Gnome 2.2. XD2 isn't supported on 9.1, since it would effectively be a downgrade. OTOH, Gnome in SUSE Linux 9.1 Professional includes a fair number of patches from XD2 (applied to the newer Gnome source) and is consequently already significantly Ximianized, even if it's not obvious from the branding. 9.1 also comes with the current stable version of Evolution. Effectively, there's nothing more that SUSE Linux 9.1 Professional users need to download from Ximian. To a far greater extent than was previously the case, it's already there in the OS install. -Mark Gordon
