Re: Pilot & Evolution

Thanks for your quick reply,
I tried to kill evoltion-alarm-notify as root, got the message "No pid
of that name"  I ran "top" to see if evolution anything was running and
found no evidence . So I dleted the
~/evolution/local/calendar/caledar.ics file and restarted Evo.  Checked
the Calendar - not empty. Shut down Evo went back to have a look and
found that the calendar.ics file was back at same size as before.  I
deleted the Pilot calendar data bases both remote and local, but I left
the "folder-metadata.xml" in there.  Fired up Evo again and still have a
non-empty calendar.  Went back to check and all the files I deleted are
back in therir original positions.  Weird.  How do I get a deleted file
to stay deleted?

There must be another repository which replenishes the "Calendar"
folder.

Where do I go from here?
