Evolution Error: Cannot activate component OAFIID

Hi, I did what I have done many times before - use an editor to open up ~/evolution/local/Inbox/mbox and delete a plain text password that some annoying email lists sent. I did shutdown Evolution before editing the mbox. Usually, there is no problem at all restarting Evolution, but this time, I got 4 times the following Error dialog (in the URL) and Evolution start with all folders malfunctioning. This might as well be a coincidence because I restored the mbox file from the editor's backup but Evolution still couldn't start. http://www.olywa.net/haiou/evolutionCORBAException.jpeg I uninstalled and reinstalled Evolution, but the error is still there. Is there a gconf file in ~/.gconf/apps/evolution that I can modify or delete so that Evolution can start successfully? Can someone help me? I'm dropping down to using text file to send this email directly using sendmail. Thank you.
