First of all: Connector is free, released under the GPL from Novell.
Thus you will not need registration keys with recent versions.

As Ximian can not build packages for every distro and version out there,
it's the distro vendors duty to package them. Please ask your vendor to
provide Enterprise packages (like Connector) for Enterprise aimed
distributions...

If there are no packages available at all, you can build Connector
yourself.

What do you mean by "9.0" here?

The installer determines the OS (and thus which prebuilt packages to
install) by your "/etc/redhat-release" file. If it doesn't detect a
known version, it will refuse to install anything -- as it probably will
fail anyway.

To get it working nonetheless, you have some options. Although these are
only shots in the dark. I never tried it, and in fact I never used
Connector. It may work, but it maybe fail as well. Be careful.

* Sure, you can edit that release file, forging a different, supported
OS. This way you can still use the installer, but it is somewhat nasty.

* The better approach likely is to get the RPMs and try installing them
manually. This way, you have more control over trying to force the
install by cheating...

You can grab recent Evolution and Connector RPMs from the Ximian FTP
server:
 ftp://ftp.ximian.com/pub/ximian-evolution/
 ftp://ftp.ximian.com/pub/ximian-connector/

Try getting matching version numbers. I don't know how differences even
in minor version numbers will affect proper functionality.

Again, be careful. I don't know, if anything above actually will work.
In the worst case, it even may harm some already installed packages.
