seems like there are a lot of "me" out there (according to the

not only that but often i find the open source community doesn't take
non-developers terribly serious. i used to post to a number of mailing
lists and it always seemed that my thoughts were just blown off. so i
pretty much quit making suggestions. 

don't get me wrong - i have absolute respect for the open source
development community. and i have complete respect for what ximian has
been doing. 

but i do wonder why this major UI change? what was the impetus behind
this?
