I just noticed the following announcement today from Novell about SuSE 9.2 shipping in November, in part: "According to a company release, SUSE Linux Professional 9.2 will include the KDE 3.3 and Gnome 2.6 graphical desktop environments, as well as the Open Office 1.1.3 business productivity suite. It will also include the Novell Evolution 2.0 email client along with the latest versions of the GIMP graphics tool and the Nvu Web authoring and site management tool. The update also supports the YaST wireless configuration and administration tool, which allows easy setup of Bluetooth and WLAN connections." Is this the update that integrates Ximian products into the SuSE Linux distro? I run SuSE Pro 9.0 and Ximian XD2, Ximian Evolution 1.4.6, Red carpet, and Ximian's version of oOo. If I buy and install the update Pro 9.2 Update, will the installation update and "integrate" the Ximian products for me, or will the process involve uninstalling apps before doing the upgrade? I don't see anything that addresses my questions at the Novell site or in the Ximian fora. Where can I find out more?
