Refreshing VFolders without restarting Evolution?

Does anyone know how to get VFolders to stop showing items that no longer meet 
their rules?  For example, I created a VFolder to list all my emails that had 
the Followup flag set.  That worked just fine.  However when I clear the 
Followup flag from a particular email that email message continues to show up 
in the VFolders even though it no longer meets the criterion.  The only way 
I've been able to get these to go away is to complete exit Evolution and 
restart it. 

Does anybody know of a better way?  I'm running 1.4.5 on RedHat 8.0

P.S.  This behavior isn't limited to Followup flags.  It does the same thing 
for labels.
