More Evolution mail follies ...

Greetings - I've tried to get back to dealing the "sending AOL IMAP mail" issue but have run into another problem that arose "out of the blue" and that may, or may not be related. (I'm sending this message from the Web interface).

I received an e-mail message to one of my POP accounts to which I tried to reply. I got the following error message:

"Error while performing operation:

RCPT TO <[email protected]> failed: Requested mail action not taken: mailbox unavailable"

The unsent mail stayed in the Outbox (as was the case in my previous attempts to send mail from my AOL IMAP account using Evolution). Repeated attempts to send a duplicate or to send any new mail from my POP accounts to other addresses also resulted in the same error message and in unsent messages "stacking up" in the "outbox."

I deleted the unsent messages and tried sending again, deleting the unsent messages first.  I tried my usual "shut-down-and-reboot" <grin> and even disabled the AOL IMAP accounts, but nothing works and I have not been able to  send *any* e-mail messages from Evolution since the original error.

This is really frustrating. I live and work by e-mail and the inability to send messages really stymies me.
