Rhythmbox Problems

I just installed rhythmbox 0.5.3-0-ximian on my system
along with Ximian's gstreamer and gstreamer-plugin
stuff.

At first I was getting an error message that the
"spider element" was not installed when I tried to
click on an Internet radio station. Now, with the
adding on of gstreamer that error msg is gone, but
when I try to add an mp3 to my library, I get the
following msg:
Gtk-Message: The filename "Music The Cello Suites -
Inspired by Bach--Disc 1 Suite No. 3, Pr\351lude Yo-Yo
Ma.mp3" couldn't be converted to UTF-8 (try setting
the environment variable G_BROKEN_FILENAMES): Invalid
byte sequence in conversion input

The app also crashes when I click on some, though not
all, of the radio station selections. 

Anyone know how to get the mp3 library stuff working.
I read that I need to add on a certain plug-in, but
which?
